Job Description

Position Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join our client's team. This position is located onsite and involves maintaining and repairing building facilities to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Familiar with various tools and equipment used for building maintenance and repair.
  • Problem-solving and analysis required for basic HVAC components, electrical fixtures, plumbing, and building repair.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to complete tasks timely with minimal interruption to the educational/business operation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document accurate maintenance records.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Trade school or specialized equipment/system repair credentials preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of facilities experience in building operations.
  • General project management skills.

Licensure and Certification

  • A valid state driver's license.

Travel

Local travel to area businesses. May be required to assist other campus locations as necessary.

Additional Details

Max Pay: $26.11 per hour

Min Pay: $24.00 per hour
